Office of Minority Business Development

The Office of Minority Business Development (OMBD) is a special initiative of the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center. This Division was created to provide special attention to the needs of minority entrepreneurs by identifying procurement opportunities, locating sources of capital, and supporting outreach efforts of minority business people around the state.

Counseling Services

The Georgia SBDC provides free consulting services including assistance with business plan development, market analysis and marketing strategies, financial analysis, compliance and legal issues, and preparation of loan submissions for individuals who want to start their own businesses or expand an existing one.
