UGA’s Ag Business Planning Workshop can provide you with the tools and information to help you get started or improve your existing operation. This workshop will teach participants business concepts such as:
- market feasibility
- financial feasibility
- crop enterprise budgets
- understanding the legal structure of a business
- funding options
- how to remain in compliance with agriculture and business regulations
From row-cropping to livestock to roadside vegetable stands and everything in-between, this course has valuable information for your operation. Participants will also get to hear from a grower and lender to gain firsthand knowledge of real world expectations in the ag market. Participants will take home a better understanding of business concepts that they can apply to any agricultural operation.
