A New Adventure…
I wanted to take a moment to thank the Small Business Community for 19 terrific years. That’s right, I am leaving The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center after 19 wonderful years. I want to thank all of the entrepreneurs that I have had the opportunity to work with over the years. I have always felt blessed to be able to share and work with you as you reached for your dream.
It has been an honor and a privilege to have been able to work with the most positive and proactive people I know. I would always tell people that often times when you read the newspaper it would seem that the American Dream was dead. But I am here to tell you that capitalism and the belief in hard work and a better mousetrap is still alive and looking for capital to fund it!
Thank you for all the great memories and the never ending learning that you have provided me over these years. It seemed like every other day a business owner or would be business owner would share something positive with me. Entrepreneurs seem to always see the pot o’ gold at the end of the rainbow. I will miss your optimism and creativity!
Although I am moving on to a new adventure, the Savannah Small Business Development Center will continue to serve and grow small businesses throughout Southeast Georgia. I will miss you all and will carry The University of Georgia SBDC and their mission in my heart forever.
