Josh Walton, area director of the Macon office of the UGA SBDC, recently received the SBDC’s “2015 Consultant of the Year” award. The annual award, sponsored by State Bank & Trust, was presented in Athens on May 3 and is based on a consultant’s accomplishments during the year which includes his/her work with the business community, program development, publications, presentations, and professional development.

When presenting the award, Allan Adams, state director, spoke of the significant contribution Josh has made to the business community in Georgia and to the UGA SBDC. “Josh stands out among his colleagues and consistently makes a positive impact on the clients that he serves as well as the UGA SBDC,” said Adams.
