Anne joined the SBDC team in 2022, and to her role as Administrative Associate, she brings a diverse career background which includes 20 years employment in the expatriate sector.  Having represented international business interests in the areas of marketing, public relations, and global language education, Anne employs a unique world view and broad skill set in her service to the goals and objectives of Georgia’s growing small business communities.

Shantia Carnegie

Shantia is the administrative associate for the Albany office. She is a graduate of Grantham University Online, with an AAS in Criminal Justice. Prior to joining the UGA ABDC, she served as a tech support specialist for the Division of Family & Children Services, assisting in account login restriction and providing and regaining access to Georgia Gateway website. She has a passion in customer service and overall just helping people.

Etta James assists the UGA SBDC as an administrative associate, initial point of contact, and resource guide. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a BA in Communications Studies focusing on both professional communication and family communication ethics.   Prior to joining the UGA SBDC, she served as an office assistant for the UGA Geography Department, engaged in event planning, and provided social media marketing to small businesses. With a passion for professional development, she supports the management and organization of the SBDC as their liaison.

As the first point of contact, Saundra is ready to assist existing and prospective business owners with basic business information and resources. Inquirers are guided to available resources that best assists a business owner or aspiring entrepreneur via a variety of channels such as business training programs, resource materials and/or business consulting staff. In addition to organizing the office to be effective and efficient, Saundra also assists with strategic planning for continuing education programming and marketing of UGA SBDC services.
