Asha Manzy

Asha Manzy joins the UGA SBDC at Morehouse College team as a program coordinator. Her background includes working with food entrepreneurs and food manufacturing companies at the University of Georgia’s department of Food Science and Technology Extension. Asha’s true passion is working in higher education and plans to work with local technical schools to develop entrepreneurs. In her spare time, Asha volunteers over 30 hours a month in the community through the non-profits organizations she’s involved with.

Alicia Johnson

Alicia joined the UGA SBDC at Georgia State University team in February 2020, initially as an administrative assistant, later transitioning into the role of program coordinator.   During her professional career, she has acquired varied skills and been trained and developed in numerous corporate settings, including digital marketing, contract preparation and administration. Her experience spans across industries such as hospitality, chemical distribution and sales. Within the last sixteen years, she has served in roles such as office manager, termite inspector, executive assistant, events manager, contract administrator and client relations manager.   Alicia has a love and passion for the small business community which led her to own and operate multiple businesses. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in business. Her experience as an entrepreneur, along with a strong administrative and customer service background, positions her well to positively impact the business community in the Fulton County area.

Allison Clower joined the UGA SBDC in December 2020 as the program coordinator for the Athens office. As a military spouse, she has moved many times nationally and internationally. She has held a variety of marketing, event planning and fundraising positions in multiple industries. Allison has an entrepreneurial spirit and has owned two businesses. In addition to overseeing continuing education program planning, development and execution, she enjoys networking and meeting small business owners.

Prior, she spent three years serving at the UWG Baptist Collegiate Ministries, where she developed her skills in mentoring, marketing, fundraising, communicating and administering. Carole Arnold

Carole Arnold Carole Arnold is the Program Coordinator for the UGA SBDC at Kennesaw State University. She previously worked as a marketing and logistics manager for the Center for Sustainable Journalism at Kennesaw State University, Youth Today and the Juvenile Justice Information Exchange and numerous conferences and events.   For the past years, Carole handled programming and production of SoCon, a well-known annual social media conference series held at Kennesaw State University that brings hundreds of professionals from around the Southeast. Previous to her position at the Center, Carole was the Operations Support Manager for an advertising and marketing agency that specialized in real estate development. She has developed a versatile skill set including marketing communications and project management.

Liz Overstreet Liz has been with the UGA SBDC in Savannah since May 2010. As Program Coordinator, she is an office manager, research analyst, class facilitator, event coordinator and marketer. In addition to these duties, Liz provides aspiring entrepreneurs with basic business information and direction in becoming a business owner.   Liz's business and education background provide a solid foundation to guide clients toward success. She is the first point of contact for the office and continually works to improve the presence of the UGA SBDC in Savannah. Before joining the SBDC, Liz worked in the commercial leasing industry and as a fourth-grade teacher.
