October is Women’s Small Business Month. To celebrate, for 14 years, the UGA SBDC in DeKalb office hosted an annual Women’s Small Business conference. Other offices have joined in over time, hosting celebrations of Women in Business in different parts of Georgia.

 

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we were unable to host our usual event. But – where there’s a will, there’s a way! We went virtual in 2020 with WOW – Women-Owned Wednesdays.

 

Now, back by popular demand, WOW21 is a series of classes created and held for business owners and offered every Wednesday during October. These low-cost and high-impact classes cover a variety of topics aimed at making and keeping your business strong. Of course, all companies are welcome and will find the topics relevant to their business too. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating Women in Business nationally in our WOW21 series.
